UDG Centre for Foreign Languages (founded in 2009) collaborates in and supports initiatives within the University and outside to develop and encourage language learning as one of the most essential elements in a University education and as a key skill for lifelong learning. With a highly communicative syllabus and interactive multimedia support materials, our courses help students develop the skills they need. We use latest developments in the field of methodology and our aim is to foster creative language learning and teaching. Course syllabi, assessment and evaluation procedures are in accordance with international standards.
Our mission is to provide a professional approach and a pleasant and positive learning environment. Highly qualified teachers use a wide variety of modern approaches and techniques to meet our students’ individual needs.

We offer students, staff and members of the general public the opportunity to learn a foreign language and culture in a supportive and friendly environment. Our classes are open to members of the community, members of staff at the UDG University and undergraduate and postgraduate students. Our aims are to develop courses that meet the demand of our present and future public, to provide excellent customer service and to work with the community to foster cultural awareness and language up skilling.
