Free Parallel Programming course

The National Competence Center in the field of High Performance Computing at the University of Donja Gorica invites those interested in the business sector to a free Parallel Programming course, organized and led by HPC experts from Montenegro and Germany, as part of the EuroCC project.

The goal of the EuroCC project is to ensure a high level of expertise across Europe in HPC technologies and related disciplines, such as High Performance Data Analysis (HPDA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and to make HPC accessible to users from scientific research, business and public sectors.

Course participants will learn about the basics of parallel programming, the decomposition of serial programs and their transformation into parallel ones, and the recognition of parallelization and communication problems.

The expected duration of the course is 5 weeks starting on November 9th, 2022. (5:30 p.m., Vision Hall, UDG), 90 minutes per week in the afternoon, after which the participants will receive a corresponding certificate.
