Professors from UDG Visit BUU Deepening Inter-University Cooperation and Cultural Exchange
From November 30 to December 5, a delegation of four professors from the University of Donja Gorica (UDG), Montenegro, visited Beijing Union University for a series of teaching and academic exchange activities. Vice President Chang Hongmei met with the delegation and offered suggestions and expectations regarding future cooperation between the two universities, and the development of the Tourism Confucius Classroom.

During the visit, the four professors engaged in teaching activities across various colleges: Prof. Gordana Radojevic joined Dr. Yan Lijuan at Management College to co-teach a class for Master’s students majoring in Accounting; Prof. Ivan Piper collaborated with Dr. Zhao Jin at Business College to deliver an engaging International Marketing lecture to students of International Business; Prof. Svetlana Dragojevic co-taught with Associate Dean Dai Wenjun at the College of Arts, helping painting students broaden their international perspectives; Prof. Ivana Ognjanović gave a lecture titled “Mathematical Modeling and AI-Based Algorithms” at the College of Robotics, sharing cutting-edge teaching and research achievements.

The delegation also held discussions with leaders and faculty members from Tourism College, College of Robotics, and the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. The talks covered joint training programs, faculty and student exchanges, research collaboration, and co-development of academic disciplines, resulting in multiple cooperation agreements.

Discussion and exchange
This visit not only built a bridge for academic and research exchange between the two universities and enhanced the internationalization of classroom teaching, but also deepened the friendship between Chinese and Montenegrin universities. It further laid a solid foundation for the future development of the Confucius Classroom and for broader cooperation across multiple fields, advancing the internationalization of education for both sides.
