Rector of UDG, PhD Veselin Vukotic attends the Academy for 40 years since the founding of the Facul

Rector of the University of Donja Gorica, PhD Veselin Vukotic with the delegation, was in a two-day visit to the Faculty of Security, "Sv. Kliment Ohridski" in Skopje from 21 to 23 November 2017. The Faculty of Security was established in 1977 as part of the Center for Personnel Education (COKBOS). Since its foundation, the faculty has been an uniquely highly educated institution in the territory of the former Yugoslavia with the purpose of educating staff for the needs of the police as well as the security structure as a whole. Within the faculty visit, the delegation of UDG had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Criminology, which is unique in the region. The visit was organized within the framework of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Security where the Academy was organized. Among the participants were the Faculty of Security of the University of Belgrade, the Faculty of Security of the University of Maribor, the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo, the University of Applied Sciences from Velika Gorica, the Police School from Zagreb and others. On this occasion, Rector Veselin Vukotic was awarded with the letter of gratitude of the Faculty of Security in Skopje. During the visit, Professor Veselin Vukotic met with PhD Sasa Korunovski, rector of the University "Sv. Kliment Ohridski" in Bitolj, PhD Nikola Dujovski, Dean of the Faculty of Security and other Faculty's Representatives. The result of the participation and the visit was the Agreement on Cooperation, within which cooperation with the university was established: the potential organization of joint studies, as well as the joint participation in the call for scientific research papers and projects.
