UDG at EAIE Gothenburg 2025 – Europe’s Largest Higher Education Conference
A representative of the University of Donja Gorica participated in EAIE Gothenburg 2025, the largest European event dedicated to higher education, held this year from 9 to 12 September in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The conference is organized by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) – Europe’s leading network dedicated to the internationalization of higher education. EAIE brings together universities, research centers, and educational institutions from around the world with the aim of exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences, and creating new opportunities for collaboration.
This year’s theme, “GO-create”, highlighted co-creation, collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and sustainability in higher education. The conference brought together more than 7,000 participants from over 110 countries, featuring more than 250 sessions, workshops, and networking events. During the conference, numerous contacts were established with universities and organizations worldwide, opening new opportunities for student exchanges, joint projects, research, and development initiatives that will further strengthen the international profile of the University of Donja Gorica.

Participation in the EAIE conference offers a unique opportunity to exchange best practices and innovations in higher education, strengthen institutional capacities through access to new knowledge and internationalization strategies, and create new opportunities and perspectives for UDG students and the wider academic community.
EAIE Gothenburg 2025 once again confirmed its role as a central meeting point for leaders in higher education, while UDG’s participation demonstrated the University’s commitment to fostering cooperation and creating opportunities that go beyond borders.
