As part of the international conference CMBEBIH 2025, organized by the Society for Medical and Biological Engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the co-organization of Verlab and the University of Donja Gorica, experts in the fields of biomedical engineering, technology, and innovation gathered to exchange knowledge and experiences.

A special segment of the conference was dedicated to national competence centers for high-performance computing (NCC HPC). On this occasion, NCC HPC BiH, NCC HPC Montenegro, and NCC HPC Serbia jointly presented services available to academia, industry, and the public sector, along with successful examples of the application of HPC solutions in companies and institutions. Participants were also introduced to opportunities for collaboration, development, and support in the process of digital transformation.

The event confirmed the importance of regional cooperation among NCCs in Southeast Europe, which, through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and resources, contributes to strengthening the technological infrastructure and innovation capacities of the region. Joint initiatives such as this represent an important step forward in connecting science, industry, and the public sector through the application of advanced digital technologies.
