UDG STARTUP WEEK – A WEEK OF INSPIRATION, INNOVATION, IDEAS, AND NETWORKING!
At the University of Donja Gorica, UDG StartUP Week was held from November 24 to November 28, 2025, for UDG students and StartUp teams as part of the second phase of the Entrepreneurial Nest Start-Up Program. The Entrepreneurial Nest StartUp Program is a dynamic and modern educational-entrepreneurial initiative designed for students from Montenegro and the region. Through this program, participants form teams, explore market needs, and develop innovative business ideas!
During the StartUp Week, UDG students and StartUp teams had the opportunity to participate in intensive workshops, practical training sessions, and networking events aimed at further developing their business ideas and competencies.

Through intensive workshops, participants got acquainted with startup and innovation expert Bojan Milenković, who provided valuable insights on how an idea transforms into a sustainable and successful business. His experience opened new perspectives for our students and StartUP teams.
In practical training, StartUp teams engaged in simulated interviews with potential customers and early adopters, refining their ability to ask the right questions and gather valid insights leading to better decisions.
Focusing on sustainability and innovation, a meeting was also held with the local distribution partner network as part of the A4SUSTINNO project, which aims to strengthen the innovation ecosystem, develop sustainable solutions, and enhance cooperation between institutions, the economy, and the academic community in the ADRION region. During the meeting, the next steps for the implementation of the StartUp program were defined, along with activities aimed at developing sustainable innovations through regional collaboration.

At the CheckIn conference, held in Bar on November 28, 2025, our StartUp teams continued their journey through Networking in Action. The CheckIn conference brought together leaders and innovators from the fields of digital industries, financial technologies, arts, health, and the creative sector, with the goal of building bridges between technology and everyday life, between ideas and markets, vision and application - from artificial intelligence and fintech to arts, wellness, and innovation. The Check In 2025 conference was designed and held on two stages, featuring a total of eight panels covering the areas of information technology, investments and innovations, tourism, education and training, the startup ecosystem, banking, entertainment industry, and the FMCG sector.

Additionally, within the conference’s EXPO zone, the Municipality of Bar facilitated the presentation of businesses supported by local authorities through programs aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, particularly women's entrepreneurship. This was intended to enhance promotion, networking, and experience exchange with other participants, as well as potential connections.
