At the invitation of Beijing Union University (BUU), a delegation from UDG, organized by the Tourism Confucius Classroom, paid a productive week-long exchange visit to Beijing from November 13 to 19, 2025. The delegation was led by Ms. Fu Lili, the Chinese Director of the Tourism Confucius Classroom, and included Ms. Tamara Radinovic, the Foreign Director, along with Library Manager Ms. Tamara Tomic, and two sophomore students: Egor Petrov (Chinese Studies) and Ksenija Tomašević (Graphic Design). The visit focused on participating in the World Chinese Language Conference, with activities including student exchanges for advanced studies, academic seminars, cultural experiences, and library management inspections.

From November 14 to 16, Directors Fu Lili and Tamara Radinovic attended the prestigious 2025 World Chinese Language Conference at the China National Convention Center. As the largest and highest-level international event in the field of international Chinese language education, this year's conference, themed "Innovation Leads, AI Empowers: Learning Chinese Without Borders," gathered over 2,000 participants, including government officials, experts, Confucius Institute directors, and industry representatives worldwide. The two directors actively participated in the plenary session and several cutting-edge forums, such as "Exploring Paths and Model Transformation of Chinese Smart Teaching with Human-Computer Collaboration" and "The Digital and Intelligent Application and Practice of Confucius Institutes." Through in-depth discussions, they gained profound insights into how digital and intelligent technologies are reshaping the landscape of Chinese language education and identified key trends and practical cases. They expressed their commitment to integrating these advanced ideas and outcomes into the future teaching and operations of the Tourism Confucius Classroom.

At the College of Arts, the two sides held a productive cooperation meeting, exploring potential collaborations in art and design, faculty-student exchanges, and joint projects. The delegation visited the college's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base and Art Experiment Center, where they observed impressive achievements in intangible cultural heritage preservation (e.g., enamel and tie-dye), virtual reality art creation, and 3D printing applications, praising the creativity and skill on display.

absorbed the serene solemnity of the Yonghe Temple, and reflected on the millennia-old legacy of Chinese civilization at the Confucius Temple. Strolling through Beijing's traditional hutongs offered an authentic taste of the city's local life and folk culture.

The delegation members highly praised the warm reception of BUU, feeling very comfortable and amazed by the university campus, advanced library, and various modern learning and living facilities. They were amazed by the integration of Beijing's history and modernity, the diversity of tradition and modernity, and left an indelible impression. Teachers hope to have the opportunity to come back to China, and students hope to study abroad at BUU.
