Chinese New Year Celebration in Montenegro
Teachers and Students from Tourism Confucius Classroom of UDG Participated in the Chinese New Year Celebration Event held by the Chinese Embassy
On 12th February, the 15th day of the first lunar month, Tamara Radinović, the Director of the Tourism Confucius Classroom, Fu Lili, the Chinese Director of the Tourism Confucius Classroom organized more than 10 teachers and students to participate in the "Happy Lantern" Spring Festival celebration held by the Chinese Embassy in Montenegro in Big Fashion Shopping Center. Lai Peiyu, the Chinese teacher, was responsible for the tea art booth. Lu Fangqing, the Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Montenegro, introduced China's Spring Festival customs and the cultural connotation of the Lantern Festival, and reviewed the achievements of Chinese path to modernization in the Year of the Loong. The teachers and students watched the videos of the intangible cultural heritage and celebrating the Spring Festival broadcast by the Embassy, and had interactive experiences such as riddle guessing, Paper Cuttings, calligraphy, tea art, etc. They tasted Chinese food such as rice dumpling, Spring rolls, dumplings, and further understood the Chinese Spring Festival culture.
