The University of Donja Gorica proudly stands as an entrepreneurial and research-focused institution that continuously invests in the ideas, knowledge, and initiatives of its students. As a strategic partner of Junior Achievement Montenegro, UDG has been supporting the development of youth entrepreneurship in Montenegro for years, firmly believing that entrepreneurship is the foundation for real and lasting change in society.

Junior Achievement Europe is the leading European organization for youth education in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness. Through a variety of educational programs, JA Europe connects over 6 million students across Europe each year with the business world. One of its flagship events, the Gen-E Festival, is the largest European event dedicated to youth entrepreneurship. It brings together the most innovative high school and university student teams from more than 40 countries, showcasing the best entrepreneurial ideas in student and school company competitions, while also providing a valuable opportunity for networking with leaders in business, innovation, and education.

At Gen-E 2025, the largest youth entrepreneurship festival in Europe, UDG proudly supported female students from the Faculty of Polytechnics who presented their project Engine Clip – a solution set to revolutionize the management of construction projects.

At the same time, we are exceptionally proud of the Woolish team from a high school in Budva, who also competed at Gen-E 2025. As a key partner from the very beginning of the Student Company program implemented by JA Montenegro, UDG has played a direct role in the development of the Woolish team and idea – and is thrilled to follow their continued success. We are especially proud of Damjan Gačević, a student from the team, who received the prestigious “JA Europe Alumni Leadership Award” in recognition of his outstanding individual and leadership capabilities.
