The Tourism Confucius Classroom at UDG's Helps Dialogue between Chinese and Montenegrin Cultures
On 8th May, the UDG in Montenegro organized 100 high school graduates from different cities across the country to enter Cetinje and carry out a unique enrollment activity. Cetinje is one of the birthplaces of Montenegro's historical and cultural heritage, with rich cultural heritage and unique urban charm. This activity is based on the "treasure hunt" game, aiming to guide students to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Montenegro, broaden their thinking, and enhance their awareness of cross-cultural communication. In the activity, ten groups of participants need to complete the task by searching for clues provided by the Chinese teacher of the Tourism Confucius Classroom at UDG.

During the activity, each group of students is required to combine the classic plot of Shakespeare's play ‘Romeo and Juliet’, integrate the four Confucian core ideas of ‘harmony’, ‘respect’, ‘love’, and ‘loyalty ’from the Analects, and independently arrange and shoot creative videos. The Tourism Confucius Classroom not only provided language and cultural support for this event, but also played a bridging role in the integration and dissemination of Chinese and Western cultures.

Students expressed that by combining treasure hunting with film and television shooting, they not only experienced the unique charm of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures, but also deepened their understanding of excellent traditional Chinese culture, laying a solid foundation for future multicultural learning and exchange.
